mono currently offers 150+ pre-defined design skins to choose from and we're adding new skins all the time. Try different skins to see what works best for your site and brand. You can easily replace the entire design scheme of your website, your mobile site or Facebook site at any time. All the three channels can have their own unique skin sets which makes it possible to differentiate the design for each of the three channels.  Or you can use the same skin for each, to keep consistency across the channels.  The choice is yours!

Using background images or background patterns is a powerful way to differenciate and customise your site. You can use the same background image across your entire site, or use a different image for each page.  You can also choose patterns and fades instead of images if you prefer. Keep in mind that using images requires you to think a little about the image's composition so it works with your skin. That said, using background images is definitely it is the best way to make a quick and powerful impression with customers who visit your site. 

In addition to the more traditional design skins, mono has developed a design concept where all the modular elements are designed with transparency. This enables an unique design effect that will show if you define a specific background colour on your website. The background colour will then 'show through' the transparent elements on your page and the modules will automatically adjust to the background colour, creating a beautiful effect.

If you are an advanced user who knows how to use CSS, you can customise all the mono skin designs and styling as uniquely as you like.  Note that mono support does not support custom CSS, so we recommend you really know your way around CSS or hire someone who does, before making any changes to your mono CSS.
