We have made a new module available for all our basic and basic + domain users. With the form builder module you may include a contact form, an invitation or ask your users to vote or select a specific answer to a question. You decide the number of fields and the kind of fields to be included in the form. Place the module on a page where you want the form to appear. Remember to publish!

We have now made the RSS module available for all our free users. This enables you to get started creating your new mono website with only a few clicks. You may use the RSS module to feed content from other websites which provides content relevant to your website. In this way you may easily place relevant content and start earning money by associating a Google AdSense account to your mono website.

The RSS icon is placed on a lot of different websites. By clicking the icon you can get the URL to the RSS feed. Copy the address and paste it into your RSS module i mono. Remember to publish your site, once you are done.

If you have a mono free website you will have ads shown on your website after 30 days from creating your account. We have previously shown ads on the free websites but the new thing is, that you can make a profit from the ads. mono.net are the first in the world to introduce a two-tier system of the Google AdSense program enabling not only our paying customers - but also our free users to make a profit from the ads being shown on their mono websites. The AdSense module is now available in the list of content modules and allows you to put ads on your website. You can place the module anywhere you like and you may also choose to have a leaderboard on all your pages. Read more in our forum or click the AdSense banner at the dashboard to get started.

To get a guestbook on your mono website you have to insert the comment module, which you find in the list of content modules. With the comment module you can give your users the possibility to comment on the content of your website. You can also insert the comment module on an empty page that you name guestbook, to use the module as a guestbook on your mono website.
Remember, that you can find answers to your questions in our forum, where you can also create your own blog posts for the other mono users to answer or use.

You can easily get more than one domain to your mono website. Simply just follow the mono basic + domain flow for every domain you want for your website. The first domain you buy for your website will be the primary domain. The following domains, will guide your users forward to your primary domain, so that the primary domain will be the visible address in the browser.

Check out the forum to get help from other mono users or help the other mono users yourself. You can also share your tips and tricks with the others. IMPORTANT! From now on there will be no e-mail support for mono free users. The forum will be the place to get help and answers about your mono website. You can also see some examples of other mono websites in different categories. Note that the forum is in Danish. The English version will follow shortly.

With the HTML module you can add different functionalities to your mono website. The HTML module can be used to add functionalities like for example Google analytics, quickpolls, baby tickers and many more. Use the HTML module to give your mono website a personal touch. With the new full screen function in the YouTube module you can view your movies in full screen directly from your mono website. Click the screen-icon at the bottom of the YouTube.

You may now get comments from your users. You can place the comment module anywhere at your website. Remember to publish your website after adding the module. You may always edit or delete a comment by clicking the comment module in your editing interface. Only available in mono basic or mono basic + domain.

We have added a 'Share this' functionality at the bottom of your website. You can disable the function in general settings for your website.

You may insert at print function using the HTML module. Insert this code:

Drag a HTML module were you want the text 'Print page' to appear and paste this script into the module. Remember to publish your site. Note that this feature is only available in mono basic and basic + domain.

We have had a number of questions on how to get a counter on your website. And here is a suggestion... Sign up for a free counter at www.statcounter.com and include the tracking code in 'HTML in body' under General settings for your site. You may also choose to show the counter on a specific page by using the HTML module. Place the HTML module on you page where you want to show the counter and paste the Statcounter tracking code into the module. Remember to publish your site after adding the tracking code. It is possible to style your counter to fit the chosen design for your mono site.

Last Friday the mono portal was launched in English. You might have noticed the small 'English' bottom next to the login in the main navigation. We are happy to welcome all the many English speaking people that have already found their way to mono.net and hope that you will have as much fun with building your mono site as our more than 20,000 Danish users. You might be curious to see examples of other mono users websites. Click examples and be inspired. Most of the sites are still in Danish but we hope to see many more English mono sites in the future.

mono and the Yellow Pages are now working together, reaching out to an even larger audience.

We have decided to change ad partner, so that the ads served on the mono free sites will be contextual text ads instead of banner ads. We have styled the ads to fit your chosen design. You need to publish your site before you can see the styled ads.

You may now get detailed user stats using Google analytics for your mono site. Insert the tracking code in the Global HTML Tags (under Settings) for your mono site. Remember to publish your site. Note that this feature is only available in mono basic.

Using the new RSS module your are able to get news feeds from external services providing RSS feeds. You may for instance get updates from TV2 or weather forecast from DMI at your mono site. At www.rsskataloget.dk you can get an overview of Danish RSS feeds. Note that this feature is only available in mono basic.

Again mono was presented on national TV. This time at DR1 in a program called 'Rabatten'. As a result of the positive mention we experienced an enormous interest and unfortunately the mono.net portal was temporary inoperative. We apologize for any inconvenience that might have caused.

How many visits did I have on my mono site? How many unique visitors and page views? Check out your dashboard to learn more about the traffic on your website. Note that this feature is only available in mono basic.

It is now possible to click on your photos in your photo album to see a large image. You can also create links (internal and external) from the images included at your website. Note that these features are only available in mono basic.

Now you can control the access to your mono site. You may lock all or some of your pages, so that only the people you give access to your site can see it. In page settings you will find a check box that you need to check if you want to limit access to a particular page. If a user tries to access this page, he will have to request access. You can see a list of the people who have requested access at the dashboard, from where you can also grant access.

Remember to publish your site if you have password protected one or more pages.

Note that password protection is only available in mono basic. You may easily upgrade your current account. Upgrade now

It's now possible to avoid ads on your mono site. Sign up now or upgrade your free version to mono basic. Also you get free disk space - so no limits on how many pages you can create or pictures you upload.

The free version of mono includes ads in the mono tool and at the mono sites. We will shortly launch the subscription version where it is possible to avoid ads for a small monthly fee. So stay tuned for updates and upgrades.

In only two months more than 500 people have signed up for the beta-test and it is fantastic to see the wide variety of mono sites that you have created in such short time. We wanna thank all our beta-testers for great feedback and hope you will continue testing mono as we launch new features and products in the beta.

It is fantastic to see the many mono sites that pops up. In only two weeks, sites ranging from personal photo albums, wedding sites, passions for diving, cars and many more have popped up. Small businesses creating their own unique mono site. Even a Christian Life Church has found its way to mono.
